Absolutly none. In order to take advantage of the range and speed increases of the N technology you need to be compltely 802.11n.

When using the G card you will see no difference then if you had a G router.

You will only get G speed unless the entire system is N based. Distance may be slightly imporved but a high power G router would accomplish the same distance extension.

Since N has not been firmly set (the standard for it) I would just stick to G unless you need to replace a bad router etc.

in case you elect to improve the area to a particular area, one answer is to get a bite of coax cable, strip off 1and a a million/2 inches off each end, push the safeguard back so the midsection conductor is uncovered leaving the customarily white insulation on. then wrap electric powered tape to conceal the ends. now tape one end to the antenna of the router and placed the different end close to the section the place you desire on the spot connectivity. i stay in a handmade of soil with 2 foot thick partitions and my wifi router sign won't be able to penetrate them properly however the coax twine snags sufficient sign via in easy terms being taped to the router antenna to offer an incredible style of sign on the different portion of the wall. yet another answer: make a radio frequency mirror. tape a one foot sq. piece of foil to 3 cardboard and set it in the back of the router ant. approximately 6-10 inches interior the alternative path from the place the objective computing gadget is. this could notably improve the sign .
