It is a very good model it comes to aroung 42000/- it dosent have any failures.

I own a Compaq V6000, it is very fast, but there is two bad things, Quickplay is not so quick, first it needs to boot Windows in order to start Quickplay, in previous versions, after the HP screen, the music is ready., also whatever quickplay touch sensitive buttons you press on the keyboard, they make a loud beep, and there is no way to turn it off.
It starts from around $500, check the HP website for it. Mine was 820 dollars

Save yourself the trouble of dealing with viruses and having extreemly poor customer service and buy a Mac. They have phone support with actual humans that actually pick up the phhone. And if you live in NYC they have a 24 hour-a-day 365 day-a-year store that you can always go into. Plus you don't get a ton of extra software that you don't need with a Mac.

I am using it for about 2 months.
It works very fine for me. No problems so far.
I even use it to edit movies, if you are planing to buy I'll advise to buy.
512MB Ram, may be low for some needs... but can upgrade if needed.
Price is very competitive. I bought it for 42,000 in Chennai in April. But now its about 40,000.
