She always talks about me behind my back and she is really mean and annoying. I have told her before that I don't want o be friends with her, but she doesn't seem to understand. It makes me really frusterated and hard to deal with. She just says, "Let's forget about it." but then it just happens all over again. This has happened many times before. What should I do?

you need to completely shut her out of your life. if she tries to talk to you, just walk away. if she calls dont answer. you need to make sure to show her that you mean business. and if you guys do stop being friends she might miss you and start being a better friend. good luck!

I know exactly what you feel because i went through the same exact thing with a friend who treated me the same way. Like i would confront her about he talking behind my back and all the mean things she would say to me, and then she would turn around and say oh get over it! She wasn't a true friend, and she will never be one. I was friends with this girl for over 13 yrs and it just got to a point where i grew up and realised this wasn't wat i wanted in a friend. So i told her exactly how it made me feel about being her friend and what i wanted in a true friend. She got very defensive and thats when I drew the line and ignored her. We haven't spoken in 2 and a half years. and you know what? Now she has no friends, nobody wants to hang out with her or be around her. It's a shame really, but you know what?! your happiness is more important than anything in life. So think about your happiness, if you have to let her go then do so, and start atracting the type of people that you know will appreciate you as a friend/person.

"Let's forget about it" Priceless for the one who says it.

Now you know what she is like, and she isn't going to change. There might not be the perfect thing to say to a person like that to get her to understand. Instead of saying you don't want to be friends with her, say in your own words that you have to stay away from people with her personality traits for 6 - 8 weeks, Doctor's Orders. If she pursues it, tell her to call you in 8 weeks and you will talk to her then. Then walk away.

I know this all may sound a little dramatic, but maybe it will help you think of something more suitable or realistic. That young woman is not a friend.

Find someone else to hang out with. Tell her you know what she did and friends dont treat each other that way. Tell her it's not about "let's forget about it", it's about trust and trust is not something that's given it's something earned.

What i would do is go talk to her and see what her problem is about . If that doesn't work just ignore her find another friend you have and tell her to grow the hell up!!

Tell her again that you do not want her friendship then tell her why. If she still acts like she doesn't understand then tell her you will get a order of protection against her if she doesn't leave you alone.

Tell her you don't want to be friends anymore, and cut all communication off to her, she will finally get the point or do something that will really make her mad, and won't want to speak to you! I've learned just stop talking to them, and ignoring them, and they finally get the point you don't want to be friends anymore!

well,. since you've told her so many times already just stop doing things with her. if she calls don't answer same with emails and texts. don't hang around with her at all and if you find yourself talking with her only respond with short answers.
