I live in Massachusetts, you want an example of a horrible governor, Mitt Romney takes the cake. Here is some things about Mitt Romney that people should know:

When running for governor of Massachusetts Mitt Romney recieved numerous campain contributions from Bechtell, a company involved in the Big Dig. Bechtell was responsible for tunnel work, and did not secure rafters in a tunnel that they built correctly, one fell on a woman killing her while she was driving. Mitt Romney then created an investigation, what he did not tell the people of the state, what he tried to hide was that the people running the investigation were part of Bechtell! He denied having knowledge of this, but it was his administration that put them in charge of the investigation.

Mitt Romney also now wants credit for the insurance coverage that is available to all Mass residents. This was proposed by the legislature, he fought it tooth and nail, they reduced many parts of the plan until it could be passed. Mitt Romney hated the idea, so I don't know why he wants credit for it now.

Mitt Romney has a new stance on abortion every time he runs for positions in different places. He has a new stance on stem cell research once a week.
Mitt Romney was such a poor governor that when his Lt. Governor ran for the seat against a guy no one had ever heard of before, she lost by more than 20% of the vote.

Face it, if someone cant govern a small state like Massachusetts, they certainly can't effectively run a country.

I find it hard to know where he stands on any issue, because he keeps jumping around. He seems like he probably means well, but I think he's more interested in just BEING president rather than accomplishing something as president.

If you're looking for someone who stands for the rights of American citizens, Ron Paul is probably the best candidate. That's why there are so many Paul supporters now all over the internet. He's not a great sound-bite artist, but he's got a great understanding of the Constitution and economics and the other things that a president really needs to understand.

I wouldn't trust Mitt Romney further than I could throw him. He likes to make headline announcements then sends some aide to make a correction announcement when no one is really around to hear. He flip flops on issues. He put down Massachusetts across the country while he was governor just to further his political career. He refused to restore prosthetic arms and legs to Medicaid. He pocket-vetoed a bill that would have prevented people from parking in the access aisles of HP spaces. He bragged about leaving Massachusetts with a surplus then slashed billions from human services and left the new governor with a huge deficit. He couldn't care less if kids in special ed earn a diploma. He's the sound bite king - even if he doesn't know what he's talking about. OMG I could go on and on. But I won't. So I guess my answer to your question is I think Mitt Romney would be a worse president than Bush - unless you are rich. But God save you if you are low-income, disabled or elderly.

I did not see CSPAN today but I like Mitt Romney quite a bit.
He has excellent qualifications and as Governor of Massachusetts came up with a way to get insurance coverage for all the citizens of Mass. that had no coverage.

He is a good man and his family is beautiful.

I am not completely sold yet but I am leaning his way.

I dont like romney because he is a member of the cfr (council on foreign relations) wants to continue the path to North American Union and completely dissolve the borders between US and mexico. He supports NAFTA”s superhighway, this is just one part of a plan to erase the borders between the U.S. and Mexico, called the North American Union. This spawn of powerful special interests, would create a single nation out of Canada, the U.S. and Mexico, with a new unelected bureaucracy and money system. Forget about controlling immigration under this scheme.

I like Romney. I think he is very well spoken and I agree with most of his positions. My only problem is he has changed his opinion recently on a lot of issues. Did he do this to pave the way for a run at the Presidency? Yes, he probably did. If that is the case then he is no better than Bill Clinton who changed his position every other day.

I like him.

Look at the Salt Lake City Olympics, or how he gave Mass. a surplus. He also believes in a strong family, which is always good.

In all seriousness, I think hes a moron.

Anyone who says "My view is, my ought to double Guantanamo" qualifies as a moron in my book.

Not to mention that he uses words and doesnt know what they mean. At the last debate he said one of Blitzer's questions was a "non-sequitur", and it wasnt. He was just dodging the question.

Not to mention that hes an aristocrat from Massachusetts pretending to be a hunter and such. I didnt buy that when it was John Kerry doing it, and I dont buy it now.
