It's really the nature of being an actor.

Compare the divorce rate of DIRECTORS and people involved in the production end of things to the actors, and you'll notice a dramatic difference. When production people get divorced, it's due to lack of time spent together.

But actors are required to immerse themselves into different roles and alternate realities and make them appear REAL. The camera doesn't lie, so they have to FEEL it. The successsful actors can pull it off. The ones who hold back, they never amount to much.

It is common for actors to fall in love on set, especially in leading roles with romantic involvements. Then, when the filming is over, they really learn who the other is, and suddenly they don't like what they see. Divorce.

This doesn't happen with production people. They never have to immerse themselves into roles. They know it's all fake and phony and they go home to their real lives. It's not their JOB to BECOME the role.

A true observation. I believe they just don't think before they jump into new relationships and marriages. And because they have the money to pay for lawyers and legal fees after the marriage doesn't work they simply do whatever fancies them at a certain time.

Living a fast paced life and having your face in the public with constant media attention may have gone to some celebrities' heads.

The stars in Hollywood are are pampered. They are told that they are important, that they are the best, and that they deserve privileged treatment. After awhile, they come to believe this themselves. When something in their marriage doesn't work out, they feel that they obviously deserve someone better than their spouse, so they divorce and find another partner.

Not all do this, of course, but enough do that it explains the increased divorce rate.

first of all they really don't think they just want to move into a fast relationship for more attention. they really don't know what they are doing or what they want. they wait until they have kids and then split up so they can earn more money and much more attention.

I would think that the separation while working and the big egos would contribute to a lot of the problems in Hollywood marriages.
