Yu Yu Hakusho is one of the best of all time. Its a better show than DBZ by far.

Outlaw Star is a very good show, but I'm not sure how many episodes there are.

Cowboy bebop is a great show, too. I think its pretty long.

Also, Inuyasha is actually a very disappointing series. It started off as being one of my favorite shows but they had way too many filler episodes. The plot is very weak and they don't even beat Naraku at the end. What a waste of 167 episodes....

Longer animes become repetitive if the story doesn't change much throughout the series.

Death Note is excellent but it's subbed. The English dubs are just starting but the voices are too high and it takes a lot away from the tense mood of it all. I recommend you just go with the Japanese language and read the subtitles. It's excellent and then some. It is a continuing series. I think it's at maybe episode 35 or so. YouTube kicked off all the episodes after ep. 25 or 26.

A lighter one is Hikaru No Go. A kid who learns to play GO when he finds a GO board in the attic. The spirit of a GO master is awoken and is continuously pestering Hikaru from that point on. It's cute. I don't know where the episodes are at all on that one. I don't think it's dubbed either. I don't know how far the episodes go on YouTube.

Fruits Baskets is a really good story too but I don't know where to find it! I have seen the first 2 episodes and I can't find more.

Well first off, it depends on what kind of style you like. Action, adventure, romance. My faveorite are Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist and Trigun.

However, if you want some classics, I suggest Hayao Miyazaki's movies like Spirted Away or Princess Mononoke which are two of his best.

Once again, really depends on what you're into.
