IF the library had an expert setup the wifi you will find yourself isolated on the wireless lan meaning you wont see anyother users. There are public wifi routers designed not to let wireless users see anyother wireless user or any other network attached device other than delivering you a connection to the internet.

The adminsitrator of the system is the only user who has any access of any type.

That being said.. many just don't implement that security so you might just browse the network and see.. Just remember if you actually connect to a shared folder on another machine -- you just committed a felony unless the owner gave you that permission.

>turn on all computers inside the house.
go to one> go to start> control panel> switch to classic view> select the "network setup window"> follow the wizard.
>do the same for all computer
Ps make sure that all the work group for all computer are the same. This even works if all connections are protected, so you could protect you computer a bit wihout having it unsecure just because you wan't a network.

Most connections like that are not set up for networking between users.

The other people on the network would need to be in the same workgroup as you, as well as have files shared. By default they will not have any files shared.

You would need to set up matching workgroups, shared folders and security on the other machines for this to work.
