What ever you do don't just sit around, the less active you are during your pregnancy the easier you'll get wore out at delivery. Do pregnancy workouts, read up on what to expect the first year, start a scrapbook of your pregnancy or of you and your husbands/boyfriend's life before baby. Video tape some of your thoughts throughout your pregnancy, these are some good ideas to share with baby later in life.
Experiment in the kitchen with some new dishes or deserts, take walks in the morning or evening when it's cooled down. Volunteer for a local charity, even if it's for one event it'll keep your mind occupied. Good luck

I feel for you because my husband & I just moved to a new city when I found out I was pregnant (now 35 weeks). I have been sick the whole time, so I haven't made too many new friends. I took a couple courses online, spent time painting, did a lot of arts & crafts, read a bunch of books on pregnancy & some fictional ones as well. I also got a lot of practice & had fun cooking new things. When I felt well enough I did prenatal yoga & a prenatal exercise class. I guess whatever you are passionate about now is the time to utilize your free tme.

Look into classes if there is a local YMCA around. Or free classes at a local Community College. Start a scrapbook of your pregnancy. Read some books. Learn something you've always wanted to know about. Look for a mother's group around you. Write in a journal regarding the pregnancy. Try cooking some meals that you have never tried before (foodnetwork.com). Learn to sew/knit/crochet if you don't already know how to (again, classes).

First of all remember that one of the reasons you are so ill is because your hormones are going nuts and that tends to make you more emotional than normal. If you like to read that is a great way to distract yourself but since you are already tense, don't try anything really long or deep. One of the things I did while pregnant and on bed rest and feeling like I was going to go nuts laying there (LOL) is started a journal for the baby (try to keep it positive if you intend him/her to read it!). If writing isn't your thing--try a blog. Chick flicks are so good at this time...keep the popcorn to a minimum (take it from someone who knows!) Whatever you do, remember this too shall pass. I know it seems awful right now but soon it will all fall into perspective.

RE:
Pregnant and SO bored!!! What do I do?
I'm 6 mos pregnant and SUPER bored! I just don't know what to do. It's hot outside, I'm in the most boring place in the world, there's no lake or beach to go to, I really don't have money to use for entertainment or shopping right now and I don't have anyone to hang out...

Well, my first pregnancy was at 18 and I was stuck in a one bedroom apartment by myself (my husband was working 5 hours away at a new job and staying in a motel). It was extrememly boring, but I made it through. What types of things do you like to do? I for one always loved to draw and color. So I went out and bought drawing paper, colored pencils, and coloring posters and sat in front of the fan watching tv and doing this for a while. Then I would get up and clean the house. I did alot of baking too, (cupcakes, breads, etc.) I also got a pregnancy journal. It had different questions you just filled in answers to, and I figured it would be great to give to my baby when he grew up. :) Good luck!

you can buy few books. take walk. Get some preganant book on how to take care of your child.
Or you can sleep. I am about same. 22 weeks. But i do go gym and read and go out and window shopping when i know i can fit any of the clothing.
It good if you went for walks.. doesn't matter where you live.. and i think you should prepare the stuff if you wanted so you not that bored..

awww, i totally feel you!!! i remember being pregnant and all my friends were always out and about doing cool things that my fat ol pregnant *** couldnt do!!
and really, i never found anything to do either. we lived in an apartment so at least i had a pool.
i sit on the compute allll day at work, and for everyone sayign to just play on the computer, that gets old too.
so im gonna suggest..... start thinking of ideas for your baby shower. or making a photo album of your pregnancy.
those both suck too :) just hang in there, it takes forever but you'll want to do it again someday i promise.
im at work all day everyday... if you wanna chat my sn is SaraLJ5731

Try and find some La Leche League meetings in your area. Even if you're not planning on breastfeeding, they are great places to meet other moms, interact with newborns, and form some good contacts. Also look into some 'mommy and me' classes, almost all are free and its a great place to get some support. You could also work on relaxation and pregnancy exercises - get to know your baby before its born!
