Turn the water on and the water comes out in every direction from the tap. I checked the screen in the tap and it is fine! I adjusted the water pressure and it still comes out wierd. Sprays all over the place, any suggestions? Any help?

I would say that you are missing a rubber gasket from the aerator. Someone may have opened the container at the store and "borrowed" it. The gasket should be right on top of the screens.

Bob r's answer is probably correct,at the end of the tap or faucet there is something called an aeriator which is like a filter which may be metal or plastic. What has happened is the may have been working on the water mains in your area. When the connect the new pipe up there is often dirt, mud etc that has got into the system.Part of this has travelled through your pipes into the faucet and has clogged and caused a blockage in your aeriator/filter.Thus stopping the flow of water it seems highly unlikely to be a washer problem. Can you un screw the end of your fauctet and clean out this filter/aeriator?You may need a spanner/ratchet,it should come off anti-clockwise.I hope this helps your plumbing problem.
