I am 13 year old girl and I have not gotten my period yet lately It has been kinda itchy down there.. not a lot..but every now and then it very itch..theres no pain..also the past 2 days I have been having a very light brown discharge is this healthy or is something wrong w/ me..please help

It is probably a sign that you will be getting your period soon. Don't be surprised if your period begins brown instead of red, this is normal. If it continues to itch, you should see a doctor. That could be a sign of an infection.

You may have an infection, hon. Don't be embarrassed, you can get an infection for all kinds of reasons. They don't go away on their own, though, so have your mom or someone who is a guardian to you take you down to the doctor. They'll have to give you a pelvic exam, probably, but if you remain calm and relaxed, it won't hurt you too bad. They'll probably prescribe you with antibiotics or a cream that you'll have to put on there for a week or so. No big deal! Good luck.

the answer to the question is that u will start ur period soon its probably the early signs of blood (the brown discharge) hope tht helps ya
