I purposely left off Jim Brown because he was a unit unto himself. I went for "less known" brusiers.

none better than Earl the Peal Campbell. That dude was a one man show. He literally destroyed himself with all the contact he would take. It's painful to see him walk around nowadays.

I am at a disadvantage because I have never seen Earl Campbell or Larry Czonka play but as a Ravens fan, I have seen my fair share of Jerome Bettis and lets just say I am glad he retired. I remember seeing him run over Ray Lewis and I would cringe everytime.

I would say either Bettis or Franco Harris, but I'm a Steelers fan. I have seen some highlights of Jim Brown that were pretty remarkable though.

As a Steelers fan i want to say Jerome Bettis, but I think Earl Campbell was probably the best.

Jim Brown, or Earl Campbell. Hate to go really old school, but you have to at least mention Bronko Nagurski of the old Bears.

The best power running back i've seen has to be Jerome The bus bettis when he was in his prime he was taking 4 or 5 guys before he got taken down. Even in his last few years he showed that he still had power. He was a true running back every sunday he put his body on the line every play.
