at one time iverson was the best player in the leauge (see 1999 when he put philly on his back and took them to the finals before a buzzsaw called shaq ran over him) but his time is past he is not even the best player on his team anymore that would be carmelo.

This question is absurd! Allen Iverson has never won an NBA Championship and has been ridiculed his entire career for his on and off court antics. I am a Pistons fan so I disliked losing to Jordan just as much as the next man. Yet at the end of the day Michael Jordan was a champion and the epitome of class.

Iverson's still a very good offensive player, but he's a few years past his prime, and on a downward slide. The great players in the pros are Duncan, James, Nash, Stoudemire, Bryant, Wade, Nowitzsky, Arenas, Garnett, Anthony, and arguably a few others. I would still put Iverson in the next category with people like Boozer, McGrady, Yao, Kidd, Carter, Billups, Hamilton, Parker, Ginobli, Gordon, etc. I'll tell you one thing: Iverson's still a heck of alot better than Marbury.

I dont know who you listen to but Iverson most of the time comes up as a "superstar", as for the question, better than who? everyone has their own qualities

This is the football section. And A.I. is hardley ever mentioned because while he was in Philly he hardley ever played due to injuries, suspension, and various other off the court problems. And now that he is in Denver he is overshadowed by Carmelo Anthony.

your sure do like to ask questions in the wrong category. A.I. is a superstar but not one you would probably want on your team anymore. His attitude is just horrible. Especially concerning practice. Practice? You're talking about practice?

Iverson is a chucker and comes in close to last in efficiency ratings. He will score a bunch of points, but his teams underachieve as a result of his "chuckerness."

He is past his prime. The Late 90's him and Shaq were probably the biggest names in the league.
