Yes I will. He has never been proven of using steroids. He is a great player who was good for many years. Alot of fans are treating this like the Duke Case. Call him some names, treat him like dirt and then feel ashamed when they are wrong.

We're going to have to accept it. Even though he never officially got "caught" by MLB, it's pretty obvious he's used steroids. How many times has Barry hit more than 50 HR in a season? Once...when he was 37.

Age 34: 37 HR
Age 35: 34 HR
Age 36: 49 HR
Age 37: 73 HR

I'm sorry, that just doesn't happen without steroids. No doubt he cheated. But he hasn't officially tested positive so the record is going to stand. And as a Braves/Hank Aaron fan, that's hard to swallow. There's a little consolation knowing that assuming they're healthy, A-Rod and Pujols are set to take the record eventually. Even Andruw is on pace with Hank (we'll see about that though)

As the evidence to Bonds' alledged use of steroids is so compelling, I will personally put an asterisk next to the record until the matter is settled (if ever). And, while I think Bonds had a Hall of Fame career before he alledgedly started his steroid use (and should make the Hall of Fame as a result), I just can't recognize his home run total until there is more compelling evidence one way or another. The same goes for his single season home run record.

No I will not. Barry Bonds uses steroids and didn't earn a damn thing that he has accomplished. I think that man is a disgrace to the game and should be booted out of MLB. I hope he breaks his knee from actually TRYING to run for the ball for once and has to retire and falls short. Now that'll be the day...

i will.
if hank aaron lived the same lifestyle as babe ruth, would he have broken the record? when aaron played weren't the baseballs wound tighter? did ruth have the same conditioning regime as aaron? aaron was muscular compared to ruth who was merely overweight. so in that sense, does aaron need an asterisk also? besides, steroids do not help you increase your sense of judgement on whether to swing at a ball coming 90 mph in less than half a second. even normal "clean" players can't hit a curve ball. as a steroid symptom, has anyone seen barry bonds overly aggressive, angry, or agitated? accept it. the record will be broken, as it probably will be in 15 years from now.

Absolutely not! Barry Bonds clearly used steroids and would not comment on that when questioned. If he had nothing to hide, he would have said, "No, I did not use steroids." But since he refused to comment that means he's hiding the fact he's using steroids. Hank Aaron didn't use steroids to set a record. Even if Bonds does break the record, I would still say that Hank holds the record officially because he did not use steroids.

Well there is no denying that bonds at on time has used profromance enhancer in his career. I dont get it he was a great player, a carlos beltran type in his hay day but in the past 4 years has doubled in size.So their is no doubt in my mind he has used performance enhancers, he even admitted to using certian creames that had performance enhancers. He is not liked at all and is very arrogant. People hate the guy and I hope he does not break the record, If he does no one will accept it.

Who is Barry Bonds?
Did you mean Barry Sanders? He was awesome!
What is a Home Run? Is that like a Touchdown?
Jerry Rice got lots of touchdowns!

No. Henry Aaron broke the record the old fashioned way. Every other record was set the old fashioned way. In response to the asterisk comment, if you were to put an asterisk on this and define it 'The Steroid Era' then you would have to denote every other era in MLB history (i.e. the gambling eras one and two, before and after the color barrier,).

Nope. No way. Why? Cos the guy he'd be "taking" the record from didn't shove needles into his *** and shrink his sack so that he could hit harder. Juicers suck, and Bonds is more jucied than an entire store shelf of Juicy Juice bottles.
