No, he lied to the FBI which is a crime, but I believe that Bushman will pardon him. Bush's ratings are so low that pardoning Scooter won't really affect his popularity.

Yes, when he drops the soap in the shower, and his cell mate slips behind him, hopefully he will say "Pardon."

Somebody is getting a new scooter to ride for Christmas.

For 10 years the republicans have liked to remind us that Clinton wasn't impeached for engaging in sexual activity with Monica. He was impeached for committing perjury and obstruction of justice.
Libby wasn't convicted of outing Plame. He was convicted of perjury and obstruction of justice during the course of the investigation. In this instance Plame is as irrelevant as Lewinsky. No pardon.

Sure, Valerie Plame was only collecting information on WMDs in the Middle East and her whole network got exposed when Libby spilled the beans. Yeah, let him off. Maybe we can GUESS about WMD's--that worked out so well in Mr. Bush's Iraq war, didn't it? Yeah, let him off, it will set such a wonderful example. Great idea.

Should he? NO
Will he as promised by Cheney and Bush as a reward for keeping his mouth shut about the real details and who was responsible? More than likely.

Should Rove and Cheney join him in prison? Yes.
Should Bush also be there? Yes, he had to know about what was taking place.

The president can pardon whomever he wants to, just like Bill Clinton did, and the presidents before him. Of course, the liberals will only make a big deal out of it because they can't stand George Bush. Valerie Plame outed herself to her future husband when she had just met him. How did she know that he was trustworthy at the time? It isn't possible to know if you can trust someone that soon.
