I'm researching where to live near The Uni of Sydney. Interested in an area that is nice, close to public transportation, shops/bars/clubs/coffee shops/etc... and where young professionals tend to live. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Any of the suburbs around the Uni but particularly Glebe, Newtown and Erskineville. Excellent restaurants, close to nightlife, close to the city, excellent public transport, many young professionals. All three, while close to the city, have a village atmosphere and plenty of open spaces. You can walk to the Uni from any of them.

Living in the city is very convenient. I think the area of Uni of Sydney is quite at night and you might not dare to come out at night, maybe for food or some necessity. Then I rather recommend to stay in the CBD. Real convenient, close to transportation. Not scary at night. 5-10 mins by bus or you can even walk...

Cronulla, not really close to the Uni but not really far from the uni, maybe a 20 minute drive or so, but its right on the beach and probably the nicest suburb in sydney to live.

It sounds such as you're describing my section! I stay interior the jap Suburbs, in Clovelly. Any suburb around that section could be large for you. the place I stay, it takes me a million/2 hour by means of bus to get to the CBD (because of the fact of site visitors), quarter-hour to Bondi Junction and 10 minutes to Randwick Junction, all that are enormous for shops. There are additionally little shops each and every couple of highway, like convenience shops, incredibly plenty anyplace you pass interior the jap suburbs. there are various buses interior the section, so transport isn't a project, and in case you get to Bondi Junction or the CBD then you definately can truthfully get a custom, the two places are elementary to get to by means of bus. There are 2 gyms in Bondi Junction, 3 between there and my abode and too many to count variety contained in something of the section. There are swimming pools interior the section, the main one for me is on the uni and is extremely much less costly, yet you're additionally very on the threshold of assorted seashores, all of that have their very own exterior swimming pools. The crime fee is powerful, i don't understand plenty approximately that even though that's a secure section to stay. For working, there are a pair of massive parks. i could advise Queens Park, Waverley Park or, the main important, Centennial park. i'm hoping you locate what you're in seek of for. the only draw back of my section is that's totally costly. that's not elementary to locate much less costly aaccommodationand, because of the fact various the section is so rich, the department stores are greater costly too. even though that's actual a gorgeous place to stay.
