Assuming you mean the sparkplug wires, you must find the firing order of the plugs. When changing the wires do them one at a time as it is a nightmare to try to figure out which wire goes to which plug if they are all off.

excellent job establishing your question with so much detail. stereo wires? speaker wire? plug wires? just run them the same as they were.. in any case.

Remove ONE wire.
Find equal length replacement.
Install new wire.

Remove ONE more wire.
Find equal length replacement.
Install new wire.

Remove one more wire.
