Her gender may play a part in the minds of some who either love her simply because of her gender or hate her because of her gender. For everyone else it doesn't matter. Her stand on issues is what is most important.

It will be very unlikely for Hillary to get enough votes for her to be in office. Her primary voters will be citizens in the metropolitan areas with a diverse social belief system consisting of low income white males, blacks, other diverse ethics, a small percentage of married women, feminists, single women and single mothers, and her socialist friends she has made with her partnerships in different enterprises. However, due to our habitual low voter turnout consisting of the majority being single mothers and diverse ethnic groups, the votes that she would have got she will not recieve b/c of that; therefore, this will ultimately hurt her. She will not get the votes in the states, both men and women, with a focus of Christianity and other similiar religions where a clear vision of women is being not in a top position as the president. Also, I can see this will be shaping up to be a reoccuring event in our election's history where Hillary might get the most votes in the general election; however, her counterpart will attain more states nominations and the electorate college being the fact the majority are male will vote for the other guy in the race, so inevitably she will not win the race, and no one will be upset b/c of our traditional U.S. government process that has stand so long will not be tested. I support Hillary...I also support Obama... They both share great ethical bottom lines. However, my vote is swaying to Ron Paul. I like his plan for Iraq, he will not sacrifice our military departments, upholding the individual's constitutional rights, and he understands the detriment of raising taxes on the American people, so I wont have to fork over a few more points out of my salary.

No, Hillary Clinton's qualifications and knowledge of what needs to be accomplished immediately is what will put her in office. Her Democratic contenders know she is the one that will be chosen and they walk softly to perhaps gain a VP position.

On the Republican side all I see with the exception of Rudy perhaps (not qualified) is the dark continuation of policies and positions that have embarrassed America in the eyes of the word.

Hillary may have her baggage but we need her to get our act together so we do not sink further down. Like you--she is on a mission--good luck.

Not just that, but because her last name is Clinton.
Just curious. What would there action be if, after Bush's term expires, Laura Bush would run for senate with the intent to run for President.
My reaction, Laura, why smear a wonderful reputation by getting involved in Politics.

This is typical a MCP question. Hilary is certainly not the "average-ding-a-ling" as most conservative & jealous americans would like to think about her the female "next President to be had" but a VERY INTELLIGENT FEMALE , whose knowledge & experience about world issues is up to date.

Why is it some americans cannot accept that the world has great women who can do just about anything any man can??

I have been following some of her taped recordings & talks & forums & she certainly has the know-how of what is to be had in the USA. Frankly, there are hardly anyone now as was in the previous election for a President in the US. That Guilini is so INEXPERIENCE the US wil die another death if he was to be elected. Obama is still green & wet behind the ears & John Kerry will be a better bet to be the VP to Hilary.

US needs lots of changes & teh OLD LAWS ,,stinks. CHANGE IS WHAT USA NEEDS & RID THE STUBBORN & OPORTUNIST IN OFFICE.

Maybe a few. some will be like my wife, if she agrees with Hillary and another candiate on 75% of the issues, then she will vote for Hillary because she is a woman. If she agrees on only 20% and the other candiate 80% then she votes for the other guy.If Hillary is elected Prez., it is because of her stand on issues.

I suspect she will register a great many new voters in the single woman segment of the population. This segment is large and tends to break pretty strongly in favor of the democrats. Though some will probably register to stop her from being elected to keep from hurting the future chances of a woman candidacy.

She will claim that we are a sexist society when she doesn't win. If she picks Obama as Vice I am sure she will add how we are racist as well....and every leftist media pundant will push that view for years after as if its the fact of why they lost (which will only make it increasingly difficult on women and minorities in politics).

If she wins it won't be because she is female. If she wins it will be because nobody liked the other guys and will have very little to do with her (just as it was with her hubby).

I think the fact that she is female is obscuring all of her bad traits.

She is promising to violate the Bill of Rights, and yet she gets away with it, because she is female.

Nobody mentions it, nobody reports it, because they don't want to be accused of being sexist.

I'm in favor of a female president, but I can't support the one running, and it bothers me.

No. It will be in spite of the fact that she is female.

The Republicans have made a hash of the war in Iraq and they are fielding no candidate that will make it go away.
My money is on Hillary, and I am a registered Republican!
