The mouse should be stuck, so it cant get you if you pick it up and throw it away. Best traps are those wooden ones which snap down. Kills mouse instantly and is the most humane. Poison leaves creature in agony for days, sticky traps starve poor thing (or else it`ll gnaw through its own leg to escape) and "humane" traps where they are caught and released later just pass the problem onto someone else when it is released. Then it`ll suffer one of the above. Best get some snap traps. They kill it stone dead without it knowing it. That`s how I`d wanna go!

Excuse my ignorance but what is a sticky trap. I have heard of the old fashioned traps that you put cheese on and I have heard of humane traps that tempts them into boxes, then you let them go again. If they are not dead yet...throw them in the garden and cats will do the rest.

You can pickup the trap, the mouse isn't going anywhere. You can either drown it or use a pair of rubber gloves and pull it off and let it go outside. These traps are the best ones to catch mice with but they do have this downside to them.

If you pick it up, try using gloves to prevent any disease it could have. Find some kind of rodent poison and feed away. I'm sure there's more than one mouse too, I had thought I had one but found proof after I caught one in a spring trap.

One dont use the sticky traps again.
Two if you really want to get rid of the little meeces for dead and for sure use thos nasty traps that snap their little heads off toot sweet!
Better still use a humane meece trap when caught take it to work with you and leave it in your best enemies locker.
Hey they have a life too you know

the sticky traps dont kill the mice so you will have to get rid of it yourself.just pluck up the courage to remove it,use a box of some sort and then consider getting a cat.

Those are horrible traps aren't they? There isn't anything you can do outside of killing off or waiting it out. I got lucky my cat tore it right off and I didn't have to worry any more.
