It depends on the place where you are going. Famous touristic islands like Mykonos, Santorini, Crete are expensive. In other islands, especially the Ionian islands- like Kefallonia- or Kos, Paros, Skopelos you can find very reasonable prices, in Chalkidiki as well.
From the big cities, it always depends on the exact place you are going to have your dinner or your coffee.
In general, you should have in mind that going out in Greece is quite expensive (a cup of coffee=3Euros, dinning table for two=50 Euros at least).
Other things, like water or sitting on the beach, are free.
It is also important to rent a car, if you want to see all the beauty without getting tired.
Sightseeing is also inexpensive.
Greece is a really wanderfull place to relaxe and get away from all! I wish you all the best

I see you have a particularly useful answer so far.

It obviously depends on where you are and what you plan on doing.

Typically a meal out for 2 with three courses, a couple of beers and a bottle of retsina wine would cost in the region of €50.00.

A trip to the cinema (can't imagine you'll be doing that on your honeymoon) would be around €10 each; buses and taxis are good value (Athens airport to the city centre is around €40).

You'll also be travelling towards the end of the season, so things will be a little quieter and it will be easier to find more economic places to eat and drink.

It really depends on the island that you are going to and where you want to eat. My boyfriend and I spent 14 days there and probably spent $200 per day. We ate some fancy places and some touristy restaurants. We also had some free entertainment (i.e. beaches in Santorini and Naxos). Naxos was a much much cheaper island than Santorini and Myknonos which are tourist traps. Have a great time!

relies upon the place in Greece you will yet as you're all inclusive you wont need plenty funds and ice cream and buckets etc are greater or much less same value as uk. We went self catering final 12 months to crete and food and drinks replaced into double uk costs, purchase suncream right here as this is costly there, We discovered there wasn't as plenty leisure than they have in Spain and you should spend maximum night in bars which will value a lot of funds, good success

It really depends on 1. where exactly you're going. 2. how much you'll be travelling around. 3. .what type of holiday you want to have (are you going to be eating in expensive restaurants or buying tomatoes and pasta from the local groceries and preparing it in your room?). So I would say that you need an average of 30-60 euro per day per person, including travelling around, visiting museums etc., but excluding your hotel.

Average hotel per night (incl breakfast): 40-70 euros
Light lunch: 10 euros
Dinner: 30-60 euros
Other: 20 euros

Realistically speaking, you will need ~3000-4000 Euros.

I would factor in 100 Euros per day - on some days, you will not spend as much so you can splurge on other days.

2,000 Euros ($2,800 US) should be plenty.
