80% of men today, across the board, are whining, crying, effeminate, self-centered, groveling, cowardly, superficial, incorrigible scum! Their effeminate tentencies, mixed with their authoritarianism, is truly a deplorable thing to witness! I see this in various communities, manifested in different ways. I'm not that way at all, but I recognize it, and how much worse it has gotten in even just the last ten years!

To woman today: I'm sorry. I wish there was something that I could do.

I think the "hyena" is the perfect mascot for males today. "Feminism" doesn't work, and it's dishonest. Perhaps what we need is out and out "Female Superemacism?"

I appreciate your apology but you shouldn't feel sorry. Agreed that we're still going through some tough times but we've made so many improvements. I wish there were a lot of men like you that at least feel guilty. I know many men that just completely hate women but at the same time are "players"...they take advantage of them so much and it's ridiculous. Maybe one day, men will understand and equality will exist between the sexes.

No we shouldn't feel sorry for straight women today. They've helped to create this mess. They'd rather blame men for it but pardon me if I'm wrong, but we all had a mother. Dad may not have been around and that's an issue which Moms should take responsibility for too. If men are no good, it's the faul of the parents. And mostly the female ones. So, I don't feel sorry at all. Women wanted to be men and they're succeeding. There's no consensus as to really how a man should behave, expectations of a man, or what a man should expect of women. With all of this confusion, no wonder there are these issues.

Not sure how to answer this one.

Being a male, women are lucky men are not all gay by now. From a male point of view in todays life.

Anything that happens is a guys fault. Women are totally innocent of anything in a relationship or date.
ie
Girl and guy hook up at a party they just danceing having fun both are pretty plastered, they hook up. In the morning the girl screams rape even though she was working it that night. Yes he is/was in prison for rape though she was there willingly why because she was drunk didnt matter that he was to.

Pay a compliment and its harassment. What is it look more then 3 seconds and its sexual harassment? Sorta funny when some wear clothing that catch your eye do to writing or pictures.

It has gotten dangerous to approach, talk or even look at women with out fear of getting sued, arrested or fired.

I know not all women are like that, but there are many women out there that are. I have run across at least 4.
one was very attractive will admit, but nothing said or done since in a work place. Nothing more then Hey you look great today passing by. She wanted to be part of the guys ok no problem we timidly let her hang out with us we curbed our jokes and such, think was about a week or so and she started becoming more bold with lewd jokes and such so we relaxed some, Was a few days after that when one of the guys slipped and had mentioned seen a girl that had a nice ***. Thats all not he wanted to bang her or he would rock her world just said She had a nice ***. I be damned if 2 days later we were not in a sexual harassment class because someone in the office took offense. Considering we have worked together for a few years all but her she was with us maybe 5 months it was pretty easy who complained.

IF men are timid its because we fear that you may change your minds in middle of something, or whats ok now may not be ok 10 min from now. Some men have been burned badly and now have records of rape, sexual harassment. It has gotten pretty spooky from a guys point of view.

I totally agree.. my age range (I'm 24) of men are a sorry lot. Thankfully I found a 35 yr old that has a bit of old man in him.

I think it's because of the breakdown of father/mother. Roles are becoming the same and all men are really good for are baby-making nowadays... women can pretty much take care of the rest.

I'm glad I don't live anywhere near your areas...80% is a bit much don't ya think?I would consider it to be th other 20% maybe, but not 80%,at least in my area it's not that way...Straight,gay,or Bi,no one should treat anyone as you described,or themselves,or allow someone to be that way towards them..unless thats what you want from them....matter of preference really then, isn't it?

Let's not put all the blame on the guys! Many women claim that men are insensitive to their needs, but the truth of the matter is...WOMEN ALSO WANT THEIR INDEPENDENCE in addition to a boyfriend or husband...and possibly a child or two?

Sorry---but you can't have it both ways!

Well, in most cases women get to choose their spouse so why feel sorry for someone who brought something upon themself? As long as the husband isn't abusive then I don't see why you should. Women come with baggage too. So, should we feel sorry for straight men?

What do you expect them to be when we've historically asked them to be more sensitive, open, and less assertive? Then we absolve them of responsibility when they can't or won't stand up and do the manly things they should be doing.

No, don't feel sorry for straight women, but do set an example of maleness for others to follow. The behavior doesn't change until the expectations and culture change.

And you are just God's gift, right?? It's guys like you who give men a bad name.

There are plenty of good, hardworking, masculine men out there. And even if there wasn't, I, for one, would become celibate before stooping to date an egotistical jerk!

We are all glutons for punishment but there are still ALOT of good straight men out there.Shouldn't you be sorrier for gay men that treat other gay men this way.Do you know what effeminate means, cause that's saying that they HAVE female tendencies.I understand that your upset cause I feel that way sometimes too but there are ALOT of unsavory people in every sex, creed, & color.Let's not kill everyone for a few idiots.
