With the influx of illegal immigrants and legislation enabling illegals in the future to vote ( obviously shifting far left when enabled to vote) would 12 million plus totally schew the bell curve in favor of the democratic party?

Giving amnesty to the 12 to 20 million illegal aliens would hurt the Repub party for generations, because the majority of these illegals are poor Hispanics who will vote for Dems. Killing the Shamnesty bill was a great victory for the Repub party and the American people, but we do need to elect a president who will enforce our immigration laws and make sure that the border fence is completed. That leaves out McAmnesty, Giuliani, and all of the Dem candidates!

If the Repubs chose McCain, then their party is in deep trouble, because he is one of the leading sponsors of the Shamnesty bill.

You can trust only Hunter, Paul, and Tancredo to save us from the illegal alien invasion!

Hey, I know Tom Sh*t's brother Jack!

If the bill passes and these illegals can vote, they will have a tough time for a short while. The way I see it though is after a few years of a democratic congress the tide will change once again. The system is cyclical and I think what you will see is more democrats switching sides due to them now having to pay the bill for all the illegals.

No. Because many illegals have major problems with abortion and secularism. To say all illegals are a giant monolith is a betrayal of what America is about. Individualism, opportunity, that is what America is about. Should REpublicans also see these immigrants as an opportunity to expand their base?

If Republicans are in danger it is due to a President and Republicans in Congress who could not control spending. The entire fiscal conservative wing of the party would abandon the party due to the stress on social issues and the idleness on the fiscal ones.

What I see is something coming closer to the middle and away from the extremes of both the far left and far right. We have to find a middle ground some how some way. This great divide in America is halting good moral judgement and progress as a nation. I only hope it is not some great disaster that finally brings us together!

If they are in danger it is not because of the immigrants, it is because they have served up 7 years of bad politics, and happened to have sucked a little more than the democrats. Let's not play blame games here. If the republicans continue to lose power it is because they abused the power they had in the first place.

No. The GOP is stronger then ever. Especially if Fred Thompson run in 2008. The GOP has such a power base that I don't think you will ever see it erode in our lifetimes.

The Dem. party is the one in danger. We as a country are becoming more Christian conservative everyday. This leads to the GOP, becoming more powerful. The liberal movement has completely lost it's steam and is fading away.

Yes, pretty much. Many illegals are Far-Left Communists that support Castro, Chavez, Putin, etc. Mark my words: if we don't stop this, America will become the USSA

The Republican party has been in trouble. Didn't the last congressional election teach you that? They are trying their darnedest to distance themselves from George Bush by touting Ronald Reagan as a great Republican President, but I think they know they are lost. It has nothing to do with immigrants, but everything to do with Bush.

^^^ROFLM LIBERAL AO!!!!

No. Most won't vote and some dummies will vote Republican. Lots of African Americans who live in the poorest sections of town and rely on welfare vote Republican. I have no idea why. There was also a story in the news recently that people's politics might be hard-wired and genetic. Interesting.
