No, you can't use proper names, meaning no capitalized words. Also, it's not in the Scrabble dictionary, which means there's no other (non-proper name) meaning for it that would qualify it.

Smurf would be considered a proper noun, but it all depends if it is in the Scrabble Player's Dictionary. If there is no access to one while playing, I would say it would not be allowed.

Depends on if it is in the latest edition of the scrabble players dictionary or what ever dictioray all players agreed to use at the game.

Sure...it is a word on the grounds that it is a pop culture reference. While it may not be in the Webster's Dictionary, it still can be defined using finite terms ("a fictional blue woodland creature.")

You have capitalised it yourself, so you obviously think it is a proper noun as well.
