Easy Lovin' is one of my faves from him....now you'll have me singing it all day. I grew up on that music. I listen to Willie's Place on XM radio all the time, they play all that great stuff (my faves are Ray Price, Johnny Bush, Charlie Rich and Pride, Marty Robbins, Mel Tillis, Jones and Wynette, and the great Merle Haggard!)...ah, the great old days!!! I can't stomach the "country" they've got nowadays:( Thanks for the memories!!!

OMG - Freddie Hart was a big star in my house growing up - My Dad is an Ex-Marine and used to talk about him from time to time with some other 'good old boys' for the neighborhood.
I did not get it them, but I do now!
I guess the old saying is true, once a Marine always a Marine - My dad had great respect for him.
My dad had a picture of Freddie in the garage with one of his quotes on it, I think...I don't remember exactly how it went , but it was some like:
"In my songs I write what every man wants to say, and what every woman wants to hear" or something like that.
WOW - what trip down memory lane that was.
Thanks!

Sure do remember him. We are seeing some of the old country music shows now on RFD-TV and we love them.
