So you would prefer if the US did not stand by a fellow democracy?
Who do we abandon next? France? Germany? How about Canada?
If we abandon a democratic friend we are worthless. Is our association a problem, yes, but I would rather lose the Saudis as a friend than the Israelis. A kingdom or a democracy? I do not see that as a tough choice.
