Men, when we are feeling insecure and need a little reassurance, and ask "are you looking forward to seeing me." or "do you love me?" You answer with "If I didn't love you would I be doing X" or "If I wasn't looking forward to seeing you would I be coming over?" All we want is a "yes Baby I can't WAIT to see you" or "Yes I love you deeply!" Why do guys have to turn it into a negative when giving us what we want would be so easy and avoid hurt feelings???

This is not meant as an offense to anyone, but rather my own opinion in regards to my own relationships. I feel like that type of question is extremely needy and self-destructive. Regardless of which partner asks the question, it's likely to be an irritation to the other. For that reason, I don't ask those kind of questions. Sure, I get insecure like anyone else. But in my experience, those kind of questions serve to push the other person away instead of getting the reassurance from that person like you wanted.

Again, this is only my experience and I don't mean to criticize anyone else.

Hi, Jaqjava,
Thinking and acting like women do is not our style, fortunately. Can you imagine your boyfriend crying like you do by your side when you r the one that supposses to be comfortated? Or a guy trying to understand how his girlfriend feels when she's at her period? Men and women r genetically differents. That's why we need each other, because women r and have what we don't, and, on reverse. This point is a serious problem in a couple, however, this problem also brings a kind of meaning to the relationship since both of them will have to discover how to survive every night after making love!
Everytime you feel disappointed because of your boyfriend is not responding like you'd expect he does, you better ask yourself: Would I like better a woman by my side who really understand me, or, should I try to understand him just like the way he is, as a simple man. Women should try to understand us from time to time as well!
I wouldn't like my girlfriend would eat or drink more beer than I do, really.

u seem as thogh u want things ur way lady. maybe ur caught up n that loop "being inlove" or just overly sensitive because all guys aren't into the whole "lovy dovy" thing the way u r . women generally r stressed about alot of things u shouldn't b n the first place and the first person u want to understand this mental imbalance is ur mate which is unfair to him because he already has alot on his plate dealing with u. valentines day, ur birthday, christmas and lets not foreget just because (u saw some guy give his girl flowers or tell her he loves her n front of everyone). about 90 percent of all women believe they should b treated like royalty just because they r a woman not because they deserve it when no thought is givin on equality of the relationship. guys r rough around the edges we just evolve steadily into our being while women tend to focus constantly on being sexy, wanted and appreciated. sure it's nice to hear "i love u baby" but the more a guy caters to u the more u want it without ever giving it a second thought that u maybe going over board with it.

What is easy to us is hard for them. Our answers are more along the emotional line. Their answers are usually more along the line of rational. Like for us we want to hear of course he misses me he Loves me!! Men though think why would she ask if I want to see her when I am actually going to see her right now. Men are more simple in terms of our complicated emotional filled questions. So don't think they mean to hurt you because most of the time they say these things in hope you will see just how THEY feel. :-D
