normal is what the majority does/feels , it is not always good, abnormal is going against the flow, it is not always bad, for instance if you are in a group that is racist, and you are not, you are then abnormal in that group

Imagine a stormy night, the middle of an ocean, and a boat. In this boat is sitting you. The night is dark, but immature, the ocean is deep and the storm is raging freakish hell. The boat is small, the tumultous waves are bashful and mountains high. The stars are absent and the distances all around are hundreds of miles across to the nearest cost. But you should rest assured that the boat is a very good make. It can tumble; it can turn; it can even go capsized. But it is certain not to sink as it is watertight. But the hellish dance of the boat upon this boisterous elemental tune of the stromy ocean keeps throwing you about. You know that you have to hold on to something. Then you know the night will end, the storm will pass and the ocean will be smooth again under calm blue skies of the morn. You are not afraid a bit, but just frustrated; you have seen it all many times before. You always live through; you always get home safely. You know all this is normal, normal occurrence in an enthusiastic and adventurous seafarer’s life. It is just that your rage you cannot control inside you. You just want it all to stop. You just want things to be very normal.

Let me tell you as much as I know. You pull the strings, tie the knot, and hooray! you'll see your answer.....
Everyone tells me the same thing, that I am anything but normal. Perhaps, they are right?.... There must be a reason.. When I couldn't tolerate it any longer... wanting to know what "normal" is, I started asking why anyone called me out-of-the-normal. Everyone gave me an answer, but no two answers were the same.
I really didn't know until then that I am
"innocent as a little kid", "too wise for my age",
"fun loving", "too serious and sensitive",
"candid", "reserved",
"extremely patient", "unpredictable tempered",
"happy-go-lucky", "sad and gloomy",
"with a good sense of humour", "with a sharp tongue",
"everyone's friend", "a loner",
and many more!!!
Seriously, if so many people could give me different reasons, perhaps it's they who are all abnormal.. Don't you think so??

Normal is a myth... an excuse to exclude.
There is really no such thing as normal.
The more society tries to define "normal", the more dysfunctional society becomes.
Example: Hitler had an entire society define NORMAL as white and Christian ...and it was an excuse to treat everyone else as something other than human.

This is my favorite, next to "what is real?" Normal means pertaining to the norm, or average.
Somehow "normal" has been made a positive thing, probably because it is the opposite of "abnormal," and probably because, though they like to pretend otherwise, humans are a terribly conforming species, and somehow being average doesn't bother them.
"Enormous," by the way, literally means "out of the norm."
By the way, what is real?

"Normal" is typically defined as what "most" (50.00001 %) people are. Normal is really just a perception seen differently by different peoples depending on many factors. How they were raised to view things, etc.
