I was waiting 45 minutes in the heavy rain for a bus to arrive, and this white car came to me and asks if i want a ride, i said no cause i dont kno him, and because i was scared that he was after a teenager like myself. then i waited longer and longer in the rain, and i was late for work,
Should i have hitched a ride with him?

You know you did the right thing!

Besides... a woman looks so beautiful when her hair is wet

It is never a good idea to ride with a stranger. You never know what they have in mind. He might be an honest person, but why take a chance? There are always stories on the news that some girl has been taken only to have the body found some miles away. Try to be in a safe environment at all times. Don't talk to strangers, men or women. Keep your guard up at all times. Better safe than sorry. Take care.

Most definitely not! No one knows what a murderer or rapist looks like until after the offense has been committed and they are caught. So how can you tell, you can't. Better to be late and wet, than dead and gone. You made the right decision, and keep up the good work.

I think you did the right thing. I'd rather be late for work than end up in a ditch somewhere with my throats slashed. He might be a good samaritan but then you never know these days. It's an unfortunate thing. The world isn't what it used to be

You most definitely did the right thing not getting into that car.

I would have called in to my job and said, "sorry I can't make it today due to inclement weather". You must be the boss (who should show up rain or shine) or crew leader. If so, you need to get a car asap so you can keep your commitment.

^ You did the right thing, you went with your gut reaction, it's not safe to hitch a ride, even if it were a woman it could be dangerous, you never know. Better to be wet and late then hurt and dead.

No, never take a ride from a person you don't know. You did the right thing.

No, you did the right thing. In this world you can never tell you is honest and decent and who is not. I wouldn't say that I would distrust everyone, but I would be weary in that sort of a situation.

You made the right decision. You never know WHAT could have happened. Better be late for work than raped or dead, right? I'm proud of you for going with your gut.
Love and hugs.

No, you should not have. Better to be late for work, than take a chance on not being alive to work.
