Only sometimes. In a sentence like "he ate the whole pie", I do, but not on a regular basis.

Q: "Do you want pizza?"
A: "Yeah, lets get a whole pie."

Here in NY it's called a pie.

I grew up in the Midwest, so it's just a pizza to me.
