I used to like Eastenders, and I have persevered over the last few months, but its so crap now that I almost give up watching it! What happened?

mmm brighton pub, thanks for the advice, but I don't watch any other soap operas, I waste my life on the computer playing poker and on Y/A instead

One of the main problems (and it's a huge one) is that there is a different writer for each episode. This often leads to a loss of continuity in the plot and in character.
Storylines often go on and on and on and make no real sense. One day two people are saying they love each other, the next day they hate each other. Then they love, then they hate, etc, etc. In the end, the viewer - who is not stupid - loses all interest and switches off.
Result? People write to Answers and ask why EastEnders is such crap!

Save yourself and stop watching. It is and has always been a depressing programme where people are horrible to each other and spend half their time shouting.
You are better off without it.
And while you are at it stop watching all soap operas. They are a waste of your life.

Its been going downhill for ages! What a miserable boring depressing programme. If you werent feeling down int eh dumps, you will be by the time its finished!

My opinion is that the writers of the show are more interested in making money than making a good show so they just do things in a hurry, then go spend a wad of cash. (p.s I always thaught it was rubish)

it is what I even have been saying at here for months fire - Easties has replace into all doom and gloom and why it is no longer my fave cleansing soap. a minimum of the others have some humour in them. additionally they do no longer think of with the aid of their plot lines the two - there are constantly great flaws in them. It extremely desires a radical overhaul.
