Avril Lavigne
Blue October
etc.
I hate country, not to into jazz or classical but let me know if you got any good ones

OMG!
Taking Back Sunday- every album is amazing. they change vocalists alot though, but i think they are sticking with adam larzarra now. my fave song is Theres no 'i' in team. it is amazing in response to a song by Brand New (seventy times 7)
Brand New (lol)- Amazing vocalist Jesse Lacey, and they are very original. like their lyrics are great and they have a different sound to them then most rock these days.
My Chemical Romance-not my favorite but im sure you have heard of them--Helena? or Famous Last words(new)
The Acadamy Is-they are really good, and the vocalist has an amazing voice, because he kinda doesnt scream, but he really sings, and one song is Slow Down.
Breaking Benjemin-YOU HAVE TO HAVE HEARD OF THEM. but if you havent i reccomend searching them.
Dashboard Confessional-Amazing band, um their song Vindicated is my fave, and there new song stolen is awesome. i reccomend.
Flyleaf-Well they are different, the main reason is that they have a female vocalist, but she is amazing.
A good first timer song is Fully Alive, but my fave is Cassie, sung about the Hihschool massacre (i forgot which one)
Incubus- Awesome band, Drive is my fave song.
Jacks Mannequin- wow, if you like Blue October you will probably like this. They are awesome, if you watch one tree hill, they had a concert on there lol. same with FOB. and other bands. good songs-Bruised and--The Mixed tape.
New Found Glory-kinda old but they are good, ummm song=its not your fault.
Nickleback-you might not like them they are rock and have a little bit of a countryish sound to them. but they are good.
Plus-44-they are awesome, mark Hoppus from Blink 182 is in it, he is amazing, (if have never heard of blink, which you probably have than look at them lol)
song=When your heart stops beating.
The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus- good band, popular song would be Face down??
Senses Fail-they are kinda screamo, but they are good.i would say calling all cars is a good song.
Sherwood- um they are good, but kinda not rockish have more of a pop sound to them. good song=For the Longest time.
yellowcard-awesome band, i couldnt choose my fave song becuase they are really good, but i would say anysong off their new cd Lights and sounds.
The used- good, but dont have alot of good songs The taste of Ink is good and so is Buried myself alive.

breaking benjmen is pretty good, theres also evenescence, evans blue, linkin park. those are just a few of my fave bands.
