Sin City was way more violent. Scar face wasn't that bad at all. Did the people here actually watch both movies?

Definitely Scarface.

Sin City has more voilence with Marv's antics and TYB.

A lot of Scarface when you watch it back now is implied violence, the famous chainsaw scene doesn't actually show any cutting, just blood splashed around and the 'say hello to my little friend' sequence has been surpassed in body count by many other films since.

Films such as Casino have surpassed Scarface in the violence stakes, that is not to say that Scarface is in any way a lesser film than either mentioned, just not as violent as a lot of people remember it being.

Scarface all the way. The movie is all about the drug cratel industry! Gotta knock off a couple of people, who you think might be the back stabbers, undercover officers, and power hungry b**ches. In my opinion the movie sin city is not that violent, but Frank Miller's 300 is a violent movie.

scarface.

Sin City is too out there for anyone to want to get into the drama. It just jumps around too much.
As for scarface focusing on one person.

You f***ing kidding me? Sin City was a f***ing nursery book. Scarface was so f***ing full of f***ing violence and the F word, that you can f***ing redub the whole f***ing movie and replace all the f***ing dialogue with just the f***ing F word and you wouldn't even f***ing notice it, coz you'd be too f***ing busy wiping the f***ing imaginary blood that you f***ing imagined had splattered all over your f***ing face! : P
