I want her to go to jail, serve her time, and then disappear into the abyss that other people that nobody cares about disappears into. Am I nuts? Am I nuts to think that it is crazy that she is the ONLY thing that anyone on the news it talking about?

Man I was over her after the first glimpse..I agree with you except for the abyss.I'd like to see her disappear to do something very worthwhile and humane for Mankind. Be another Mother teressa, or Oprah, or Ange.. If she doesn't get a grip soon it will be all over for her. She's on a fast track to extinction..Trouble is she's dragging some of her gullible fans with her..Yes it's news to the press. It's about time they really took a look at what's news worthy and what's not. Well! atleast Anna Nicole Smith was pushed off the news for awhile too thank goodness. They need to have news about Inspiring people who do so much, but we never hear about ,because they'r the unsung heroes..
Ciao

Within normal limitations, what one does in the privacy of their home is their business. However, what one does when operating a motor vehicle is the public’s business. Actually, the judge seems fairly lenient on her. I think the real issue is the way the sentencing is being so blown out of proportion. As if this woman is having imposed on her a hard and long prison sentence. The defense on the other hand is attempting to put the judge on trial, like he has ulterior motives, and wants to punish her because of who she is, and not because of what she did. The Sheriff is also onboard with this defense theory, following her transfer to home incarceration from fulltime custody. Her subsequent return to jail was after being summonsed back for a hearing, when the judge realized his orders were not complied with.

The Sheriff transferred her to home incarceration, without the apparent authority to implement this change in her incarceration status. The Sheriff is correct that many are released due to overcrowding, and this is in fact customary. But, I believe the Judge had a standing order for her to serve jail time. If this is true, the Sheriffs Department’s mission is to follow the direction of the Magistrate.

This “attacking the man” defense strategy thus sounds like nothing more then sour grapes, because she was in fact given probation, and made aware of the consequence if she violated her arrangement. So I think the judge was incredibly strong, and stood steadfast under enormous pressure. In the long run, if the poor woman is running amuck, then perhaps she will be better off by this experience. Since a lesson learned hard, is one that is learned well. This may be what she needs to mature, and realize the risk she was imposing on others.

I’m sure though the Sheriffs are very professional; she will be safe, and well treated.

What a disgrace the way the media is using her to sell their stories. Let's imagine that she wasn't of a wealthy family. Just a young girl that got some ecstasy and whose boyfriend video taped and released on line him having sex with her. So since she is a high profile person she chills for a bit and then has to put up a front as though she can't be torn down. Where the hell are the parents? Yes, I am over the media, and if anyone else had a lawyer that could get them out of doing time in jail that's your guy. You'd think we were watching some sort of media , "hump back whale watch" or something. They are almost, "giddy with glee" at the latest on Paris. Whore or victim , she still is an American Girl. I've known felons released on ankle bracelets. Main stream media has gone the way of Tabloid Journalism

The judge HAS to send her back to the slam or it means a lousy sherrif now has the authority to let people in and out of jail no matter what a judge recommends or orders. This is a major case, and I bet therell be riots and people queueing up to throw something at her the next time she appears in public. for her own future safety she has to do her time........The judge has to have the final word, if this boney cow gets away with it therell be mucho trouble because there is a lot of rage in the community now, especially in California. I wonder if the gubernator will step in now?

Paris Hilton is a loser. She is NOT news worthy and definitely NOT good role model and yes she should just disappear. The world would be better off without "celebrity" losers like this.

I was never under her, so I find it difficult to get over her. In order for her to go away, people must turn the tv when her name comes up, stop watching her shows, and not buy her DVD (just download it for free instead!).

I wish her no ill will, but if aliens took her away to a far away galaxy tomorrow, I wouldn't mind at all.
