To be honest, I am sometimes very grateful for Bush. Even when I don't agree with him, he does have the courage of his convictions. He does what he thinks is right. Clinton has found his place in history as the only sitting president to receive a bj in the oval office. I think that's about all Clinton ever accomplished.

I am not a huge fan of this President. Way too many mistakes.
However, I am glad we have a someone who will stand up to the "enlightened" racists of France, Germany and Italy, countries whose economies REQUIRE they make deals with governments like Iraq, Syria, and Iran.

Our President represents the United States of America, that Man,is only that,we are America. Our President stands up when he should sit down, his arrogance in representing us is giving the World leaders a bad impression of America.Thank goodness they understand that his time playing King of America is almost up.If Elected,I'm sure the next Clinton will do a better job of standing up for the American people, not for some neo-con pipe dream of World Domination.

No. I would rather have a leader who wants to work with, not against, the rest of the world.

There is a time and a purpose for everything under heaven.
There is a time for war and a time for peace.
There are times when we need a president who will stand up to world leaders. There is also a time when we need a president who will sit down with world leaders. I'll leave it to you to decide which we need now.

What world leaders? You have to be kidding. He's a joke. Why isn't Hugo Chavez dead? Why did all of Latin America ignore his visit, except for Paraguay and Educador? He's a pesonal non grata wherever he goes! The only people whom Bush is destroying is the American people, our economy and our health and our basic privacy rights.
And , uh, what's the purpose of his standing up, when they blow him down like a stick figure, when they laugh behind his back, like the majority of American citizens, at least those that aren't crying. His poll is now 28, an all time low for any president ever.
The proportion of conservatives rating the man declined 12 points to an all-time low of 74, and the moderate conservative rating declined 11 points to 54%, also an all time low. These are, uh Republicans.
The GOP has dissasociated itself from the man. He is single-handedly brinding down the Republican Party; he can't please big business on the immigrant situation, and the root voters of his part, want it badly. He's split, not only the country, but the GOP party, and he's going to be found out in the Fitzgerald probe. He can't pardon Libby, but he can't let him spill the beans.
He's got himself in a no-win situation on every count. He went into Iraq with the purpose of STAYING there; the Iraqi people have just voted to block the UN mandate under which coalition troops now remain in Iraq, when it comes up for renewal in December.
Korea laughs at him and keeps its bomb. Iran doesn't back off one bit. Turkey is invading Iraq--Bush is looking the other way. Musharraf is a snyde guy who will do whatever he wants in Pakistan and outlying countries, while, at the same time smiling in Bush's face.
World leaders? No. He doesn't stand up to them at all; he just huff and puffs up a big, phony chest, all pomp and circumstance, signifying nothing.
The man couldn't even keep Michael Moore out of Gitmo and out of Cuba to get the help that people who cleaned up as volunteers needed, because they had no insurance for it, Bush and the US looked the other way, and Cuba brought them back to health.
Watch for June 14, everybody! To pardon or not to pardon Libby; a pardon could lead to the terminal backlash experienced when Nixon fired Archibald Cox--but not to pardon him could lead to his "spilling some dang heavy beans."
This man is FALLING apart; the pieces are crumbling down around him. He ain't standing up to no one right now. The most swaggering I saw him do lately was driving his truck around Texas for photo-ops. It was seat-belt day in America; no seat belt. Wow! He-man!!!
As far as Clinton, his foreign policy record does leave room for improvement, but he did quite well under the post-Cold War circumstances. Even faced with a partisan, isolationist Republican Congress and a disinterested American public, Clinton managed to engage Russia and China, fight nuclear proliferation, liberalize world trade, and save lives in Haiti, Bosnia, and Kosovo.
What one positive thing has Bush accomplished?
