OK guys, please try to explain this one to me:
http://www.citizenlink.org/CLBriefs/A000004084.cfm

Someone put an advertisement out pertaining to “natural families”, and it gets labeled as homophobic hate-speech and must be taken down. Yet at the same company, an email is sent out for a “coming-out day”, and no one is in trouble.

So, in other words, you only have free speech if you agree with the ultra-liberal 9th Circuit court, right? What ever happened to the hippies preaching for “free speech”? I was no fan of hippies, but at least they knew the Constitution!!

Now Liberals, don’t feel it necessary to agree with these guys. It is perfectly OK to admit they have gone too far. Bush has done MANY things lately to make me furious. You don’t HAVE to blindly follow the Liberal agenda.

So can someone PLEASE explain this to me? If one group is banned, OK, but you must ban both of them. If one is allowed, both must be allowed. It seems like Liberals nowadays are trying to start our country speaking newspeak. Instead of being straight, you are ungay. No one will be allowed to speak out against the new agenda, you will be branded a “hater”, and your first amendment rights will be removed.

So, are you Liberals OUTRAGED at this blatant First-Amendment violation, or will you simply follow like the sheep you are?

And please don't use the usual Liberal weaseling-out tactics such as avoiding the question or questioning the source. Just read the article, and tell me if you agree with the decision or not.

The Ninth Circuit is the most-reversed circuit in the nation. This is inexplicable, and disgusting. But not surprising.

I don't think homosexuality should be a crime. But neither should heterosexuality.

And being a Christian is not a crime, although some seem to want it to be. You cannot allow everyone EXCEPT Christian groups to post.

I would like to see both fliers for myself, though. Maybe both, or neither, had "hateful" statements. I'll be the judge!

It's have to see the nature of the "natural family" ad. In my opinion, encouraging a "naturaly family" does not automatically put down the other alternatives. Furthermore, it is not specifically homophobic. Gays aren't the only kind of non-traditional family.

If encouraging the natural family is a slam against gays, it's also a slam against single parents, adoptive parents, foster parents, grandparents raising grandchildren, etc.

This is obviously an example of hyper-sensitivity.

The anti-establishment hippies /became/ the establishment, and they're acting accordingly. They don't like to admit it, but it's been true since, possibly, the late 80s, IIRC - certainly by the time Clinton took office.

Haven't you heard? Winning an argument with a Liberal automatically makes you a bigot.

I'm sorry, but did you ask us to not question the source? That's always a good idea. Just believe everything you are told. So, really who's the sheep? It's quite obvious by your post that you are not the type of person to look at both sides of an issue and no matter what is said you will still be a "blame the liberals" person. So really why even post questions like this? Are you just trying to find examples of people's hypocrisy? It isn't hard to do with anyone, not just liberals.

By the way....FOCUS ON YOUR OWN DAMN FAMILY!

I'm a lib, and those are extremist nut-jobs that I wouldn't go near in a full suit of SWAT team body armor.
My message to them: Be reasonable, not petty. Everyone is entitled to their views. Don't like it? Grow a tougher hide & stop making everyone suffer because you have a problem.

Not every "lib" statement is an accurate measure of the whole group.

Well, government employees aren't protected by the first amendment while at work. Hell, I am an employee of a company and I'm not protected by the first amendment while at work. I do think it was wrong of them to have any flyer's expressing personal living choices or opinions circulated at work.

Questioning the source is NOT weaseling out.

It is the most valid form of debate.

If the source is a lying sucky conservative web site, then it must be questionable.

Why are conservatives trying to weasel out of valid debates?

Why aren't conservatives OUTRAGED that someone like you is trying to prevent the truth from being heard?

Good luck! Yours will be a first if they do! I'm sick of their free speech nonsense! I'd like to know where their outrage is at closing down our right to know what is going on in the goverment thru amendment 220 and not allowing whistle blowing to the media?! Almost every other night they are going to the media for any republican dirt they can find!

I thought they were all about human rights and freedom of speech.. They are partly the reason we have freedom of speech, and they're very lucky to have such a right. Personally, I know most political parties don't like what the other side has to say and will probably always disagree or feel they're more right than the other, however, because Liberals feel they're morally superior to the rest of us, they feel that they're entitled to everything that we 'shouldn't' be.

In regards to the article, I don't think those employees should have even handed out a flier that had anything pertaining to 'coming out of the closet' - It's none of their business whether or not their co-worker is a homosexual or heterosexual. I agree with the employee being silenced. That was just out of line.
