Yes, integrity is the single most important factor.
But I cannot mention integrity, if not directly followed by honesty and reliability -- It is an emotional need I have, to have this combination of honesty and integrity. When it's met, it's an indication of the value that i most respect.
Integrity means a person is morally responsible toward others, but more importantly, it means that this person is above all else, true to themselves and to their core values.
People who are not true to their core values are not worth having around.
And I share Markyyy disgust for Bush

Hmmm...good question. I would have to say that out of the people i personally know, the one quality they all share is that they equally respect me in return. For me, repsect is earned only when it's given back as well. As far as others that i don't know personally but i have respect for their actions, they all typically are either creative geniuses (in the arts), OR very strong , positive and TACTFUL lgbt activists.

Ha, good question.
I've thought about this, and I think most people I respect, most people I get along with, don't share a quality, but I share 'disgust' with them.
If a person shares my disgust of Bush, I find it easy to get along with him/her, for example. Or when I'm sitting with friends in a bar, we all share the same disgust when a Britney Spears song is played.
I know it's maybe a negative view, but I think most people pick their friends not based on what those people like, but if they share the same dislikes.

I care not if one is of a religon or not of a faith what irks me is whilst someone has no faith or have faith in something (i'm completely wonderful with somebody who has a stable have faith that there is no God) I additionally get particularly annoyed how human beings look all so desirous to shoot down others who've believes or say something which yet another would not trust. i replaced into born Catholic and that i think of there's a God, yet I actual have a deck of Shaman oracle enjoying cards and that i think in a ingredient talked approximately as magic. with the flexibility to have faith or understand faith proves that somebody has stepped forward previous the primates all of us started as.

They are honest, sensitive, accepting to everybody, don't stereotype - and the closest to injustice they get is trying to prevent it it :-}
I'm lucky enough to have met some people with these great qualities - and God bless them..

Respect. Both for themselves, and for others, even those they don't agree with. Everything else seems to follow: honesty, integrity, compassion, and dedication.

Actually no they are not.
I look up to ellen for coming out. (bravery)
I look up to my mum for the strength she showed when my dad passed away(strenth and courage)
I look up to my friends for their sense of humour (funny)
The first two are quite similar but over all i look up to different people for different things. Unless there is some super woman (or man) with every quaility i admire.
