I quite often reply back when I have been chosen for best answer . Up to now never had one back though . I have had some lovely emails thanking me though and to be honest I was glad my advice in some way struck a cord with them .

No, I thought I was the only one that did that on here. I always leave a comment just to show my gratitude. I leave a comment even when I give someone best answer but I've never gotten a comment back.

I always leave a comment when I receive a best answer, unless it was voted for. Never had an answer back.

I just looked at some of shylow777's Best Answers and never saw even one thank you, so that was a lie. ;-)

But to answer your question, I have never tried it. It looks like anybody can comment on the best answer,though.

i do on the odd occasion, but whats the point, theres no signs that alert someone that a comment has been left on one of the questions, so most comments made are never even seen by the questioner.. so its a big waste of time.
