It's so hot outside and I'm wearing jeans...how can I break the cycle...I have skirts and dresses, but I'm too afraid to wear them!

don't feel bad I am the same way. This is what I did to break out the habit. Make a good friend take all your jeans and hide them. When you look in your closet you will only see the skirts and dresses. I did this and it forced me to wear them but once it got cold I was knocking on my best friends door ask for my jeans.

I know what you mean hun! But i recently broke down and bought like 4 pairs of capri/cut off things. I have white, black, jean and khaki colored. LOL now i have no excuse to wear jeans every day when it is 110 in July. One thing i cannot get over....are DRESSES! I'm scarred for life by them and will always feel weird in them...but I am telling myself that i will get over that this summer. you should too! 2007 is the summer of the dress for us, lol.

first you need to break out of that, the way to do it is to start wear shorter and shorter jeans, ones you get use to it you can then you can start wearing the shorts and skirts and all the other nice things that you want to wear.

try denim skirts maybe? same things that go with your jeans can go with the skirts...slowly break into them maybe? skirts are my mainstay during the summer. I can't really wear shorts to work, so skirts are next best thing.
why are you afraid of wearing skirts and dresses? they are just clothing.

one way is to start wearing denium shorts so that your still wearing jeans but they are shorter
