Humphrey Cat gave a good answer. Alternatively, you may want to continue to take a couple of the general ed classes that will be required for most majors while exploring part time work in a various fields you think might be of interest to you.
Have you tried taking one of the assessments tests that try to indicate where your talents/interests may lay? Having any type of degree ( even if it is not of major interest to you) will be beneficial in the work world. Many decent jobs want a degree in something from its applicants, even if it doesn't relate directly to the job. Many young people aren't really sure of what career they want after college, but it would be best to try to continue - even part time - one day you will find a niche for yourself.

When people are stuck this way it is often not about the school or the subjects, it is about them. You sound like an intelligent guy, but are you healthy? - maybe you are suffering from some depression and that makes everything uninteresting? You can take a look online for some clinical information about depression - lots of smart people suffer from it occasionally.
It's possible that some medication would help you focus and feel more positive. Or possibly you would really benefit from some break time away from school.
Don't think that you HAVE to stay in school no matter what. You can leave school, get a routine job for a year or so, and then return when you feel more motivated.
Give yourself a break. Dont beat up on yourself.
Good luck.

If nothing about college interests you, leave for a year or two. It's not worth wasting money if you're not focused. I dropped out after my freshman year for a year and a half and worked full time, got my own apartment, and just did my thing. When I was ready, I went back and eventually earned a masters degree. If you drop out out, you have plenty to turn to- there are lots of interesting jobs in many interesting cities- move away and have an adventure! Live like a responsible adult and many opportunities can come your way. Remember- it all works out in the end :-)

just take a ride in the ghettos and that will get you motivated. believe me, i WIL go to college if its the last thing i do! ive never been so scared of poverty in my life. if you like to stand up for things and are very opinonated then i suggest law. if you like to help people then go into medical. there are many career choices out there that im sure you havent heard of. just be observant on what pleasures you. i LOVE the computer ALOT. im actually considering a career if internet or something. just be open minded and try new things. im sure you'll find something. i still havent chosen a career yet.. .
so just try out different things. all you have to do it try them out. they may sound boring or tiresome, but when you try them im sure ull find one that catches ur eye.
Good Luck!

If you really have no ambitions as far as college goes, you might as well drop out. Stop wasting your money, go get a job, and when you get sick of it and come up with an idea for what you'd really like to do, go back to college.

What you are feeling is so normal its silly! What is your favorite hobby? Now how can you fit it into society for the betterment?? what classes will gear you towards there??? dwell on these questions for a while...if all else fails then go speak to your career counselor...he/she will be a great help. They were for me :) Good luck!

go think of what you would like to do and go talk to yr teachers then and perhaps they can help you with some suggestions.
