It could be the type of tampons you got. Some go in easier than others. The kind with plastic applicators go in easier than the ones with cardboard applicators. Also, they come in different sizes so a small one would go in easier than a large one. If you have large, cardboard ones then go to the store and buy small or teen size ones with a plastic applicator. You might also try putting a little Vaseline on the applicator to make it slide easier.

OH man do I remember having this problem...I was a dancer and had to learn how to use tampons as soon as I started my period. Talk about nerve racking.

First of all, calm down. It's not worth stressing out about. You'll tense up, and that won't help, either. Get plastic applicator tampons, as the plastic ones are easier to insert. Start out with the lowest absorbency, as these aren't as dense. Take your time, and try to keep yourself calm. There aren't any bones in your vagina, so get rid of that thought. It's possible it's the hymen you're feeling that's resisting.

Talk to your mom about it. Or an aunt. Or a sister. Read the directions again and look at the picture too. Try PLASTIC applicator tampons. They feel better when you are using tampons for the first time. I only used plastic ones for about the first year of my period. Then as I got used to it I was able to use either plastic or cardboard. So go buy any PLASTIC tampon UNSCENTED.

that would actual harm! The blood does no longer be waiting to soak the two and pulling them out could harm fairly fairly undesirable. it fairly is advisable to apply a 'max bypass' or 'great' bypass or some thing yet 2 tampons isn't ok! and you in all probability won't bleed that lots for the time of one or 2 hours of swimming. The tampons does no longer additionally be that saturated and that they could sense as though they have been caught.. do no longer think of two tampons is a robust theory!

When you are in a sitting position have the tampon angled towards your lower to middle back and slowly insert. Use lube on the tip of your tampon and use the smallest slenderest tampon for your first time.

Take your time, take it easy, and relax!

It took me forever to get my first one in.
