I love to grill. I mean I love to cook....... but I don't know, there's just something so fun and festive about grilling. (I mean cooking should be fun....... and it's outside for gosh sakes!!)
So grab your glass of wine and let's go outside. **opens door out to the deck** Ok have a seat while I fire up the grill. Oh don't mind them..... just my dogs.... they'll lick you to death.
Ok..... here we go. I hope you like Salmon cause that's what we are having tonight: Grilled Salmon Kyoto
It's been sitting in marinade for a few hours. (never over marinade with this recipe..... the salmon will soak up plenty in even just one hour)
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup orange juice concentrate
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons tomato sauce
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard
1 tablespoon green onion, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon minced fresh marianne_not_ginger root
Ok a key to this recipe is to then take the salmon out and pour the rest of the marinade into a sauce pan. I bring it to a boil and cook it for..... oh about a minute.
Then I'm ready to grill. (You still outside? Do you need a refill yet? Jack.... get down. Those are not your prunes... they are mine.) Ok...... now take the salmon and coat it in olive oil. Then place it on the grill. Take the simmering marinade and brush it on liberally.
mmmmmm it's so good. We're having seasoned rice and asparagus so hope you are hungry. Oh yeah....... and plenty of wine. :)

If you want good home cookin', I'm the lady! I prefer to make good, hearty, stick-to-your-ribs grub, and Italian dishes, especially. Spaghetti, lasagna, meatloaf, and especially chili! At a chili dinner one time, mine was the first to sell out, and everybody always raves about it. I bake even better than I cook, I think. My Red Velvet cake won a blue ribbon, and I took second place with my pumpkin pie (only because first place went to a very odd and complicated pie). I can make the most incredibly light, buttery, flaky pie crust you've ever eaten! It's all thanks to my mom's teachings that she learned over a lifetime, and my own tricks and tips that I've picked up over my own lifetime. Do I spend all day every day in my kitchen creating heavenly dishes? Honestly, no. I have to work at a regular job, too. I'm tired, and a large percentage of our food comes from boxes and cans. Most nights my husband has to fend for himself while I am at work. But the question was CAN I? Yes, I can!

Probably roast beef with Yorkshire pudding and baked vegetables. It's something that everyone likes, and it looks like you went to a lot of effort, but really it's quite simple.
