The Bible describes perfect love but no one is perfect. Psychologists talk about unconditional love but we choose our conditions. It involves a longing to be with the person you admire, someone with the traits you aspire to, a powerful physical and emotional longing that makes you ache for them when they're not with you. They will gladly fulfill your needs and are grateful for the joy you provide. You know they thank God for you. You feel connected even when apart. It is our strongest need and will captivate a person and change the way they look at eveything. Sometimes love is too late and you have to walk away for another's sake and that is sad yet noble. But love is not just a word you can define within the pages of a book. Love is in your heart and is joyfully recognized the more it grows.

Love is long-suffering and kind. It doesn't brag or get jealous, or does it get puffed up with pride. It isn't selfish, looking for its own interests, and it doesn't behave indecently. It does not become provoked, and it doesn't keep account of the injury (meaning if you love someone, you wont keep up with every little mistake they make, throwing it back up in their face from time to time). Love rejoices with the truth, not unrighteousness. It bears all things, hopes, believes, and endures all things. It never fails. And it's the perfect bond of union.

"L is for the way you look at me
O is for the only one I see
V is for very very, extra-ordinary
E is for even more then anyone that you adore"
so says the song.
I personally think love is when you find someone that you never tire of. That you can be around for hours and hours, and still be sad when you have to go. Someone who you could spend your life with, and enjoy it, despite your differences, and arguments. Someone who if you were dying, seeing their eyes last, would be the best thing you could ask for.

Love should mean that you will do anything for the person you love without expecting anything in return. Love is unconditional and it should not be taken for granted

To me, love's when you can't even imagine what your life would be like without that other person, when words don't come close to how your heart really feels. And even though it doesn't make sense to other people, you "know" you're meant to be together.
