this is the coolest question i have seen today. i dont think you should cook em although that is what a normal seafood loving person would do. maybe just make a river or ocean setting for them. you would need a tank and whatever else. it could totally work!

I am an old a man and this three business is stupid and hard on old eyes. I grew up in southern New England. My parents home is less than a mile to salt water, 5 minutes by car to New Port RI where the do the the America cup race. Lots and lots of clams. When I was a lad we used to get a lb. of butter and dig clams we would rinse them off and put them in a bucket of boiling water as soon as the open the shell they are ready. Reach in with a long handle tongs and remove and dip in melted butter, next into your mouth and I never worried about whether they would miss their friends or not the tasted great.

Put in a pot of water, add a little salt and turn the flame on high, steam till done and serve with melted butter....that is how you care for a clam.

Put it back in it's natural setting. How would you like it if some giant grabbed you and took you home away from your family and friends?
