I've lived in both places, Tampa now. And I really like it here. But there is simply no real comparison. The vineyards, the restaurants, the City, Marin, Monterey, Santa Cruz, San Jose, REAL baseball. There is NOTHING like San Francisco anywhere.

Tampa bay isn't one of the best cities because Florida has alot of great cities Orlando, Daytona, Tallahassee, Jacksonville however Tampa bay has a wonderful nightlife ever been to ybor city?ever been to Tampa at all they have a championship hockey team a great football team, a baseball team that has a promising future and its home to the New york Yankees 3a minor league team Tampa has alot of great things going for them. and the weather your saying San Fran has much better weather? Florida is surrounded by beaches you will see some of the most beautiful sunset ever and as far as diversity goes it's Florida!!! and culture Tamps is a historic city
where San Fran is a tourist hot spot. Two diffrent cities serving two diffrent purposes

Well you could start with the fact that SF is one of the great cities of the world. Tampa Bay isn't even the second best city in it's state.
SF has wonderful weather, culture, diversity, nightlife, nature, and a strong economy. Tampa Bay has horrible weather, no culture, little diversity, poor nightlife, a good economy and decent nature. Doesn't seem to hard of a choice to me...

SF is a beautiful -cool-urban city with lots to do culturally. .if you like action- -the San Fran Bay area is better. .
But. .
I like the warmth of the sun in January, the Gulf of Mexico shimmering by our Skyway Bridge. The miles of endless beaches and gentle breezes in the winter, Fishing and boating, Cuban sandwiches and Grouper. .
Tampa Bay gets my nod and we love it!
