Start investigating the issue for yourself. These statements like "The Debate is over," or "The Deniers are funded by the oil industry," are a bunch of bunk.

None of us really knows. I haven't done a study on this. Sure, we can look at who's doing the studies and decide what their biases are (I haven't bothered to look into this too intensely either although I do know that Exxon was responsible for some of them and that the left wing has it's own agenda) but really it seems like most people are just lining up behind the people who wave the same flag as they do.

I'm mostly left leaning myself but I've been misled by the left before (it's easier for them to mislead me because I'm more likely to believe them). Once bitten, twice shy I guess.

I'm remaining agnostic on this one for a while yet.

I'm not a repub and I could care less about what the liberal media has to say about ANYTHING. If you're so goddamn infatuated with this so called "man made global warming" then why don't you go to the source of thousands of years of burning the forests for cooking and heating fuel (Europe and Asia) and let's not forget the volcanoes and natural forest fires. Oh my, yea that sure is man made now isn't it?

Oh and if you believe in science so much then why hasn't the scientists said one thing about the meteor that struck the Earth back in the dinosaur age. Think that was man made?

Many people say they believe it because if they don't they get attacked by the media and other left wing organizations, I know human caused global warming is a hoax and a lot more than 1% of scientists believe the same.

Do more research. The "experts" are pretty divided on wether the warming trend is man made. Ice caps are melting on Mars. Neptune is warming. Most of our galaxy is warming up and I don't think that's caused by our burning fossil fuels here on Earth.

I still think it's a joke, and the Pres. is caving a bit. However There is no doubt we need to cut back on pollution. I am 47 years old and quit driving, and commute to work on a Bicycle in a Business Suit. Done this for about a year now.
