There are certain things that should be controlled in my life. Everything else just falls into place. Sometimes balance is lost if the priorites aren't put first.

People who really believe they have full control over their lives are living inside an illusion. I control what little life allows me to and try to learn from the rest. It's the best any of us can do.

I used to be, but am much happier and healthier since I gave up trying to be in charge of every aspect of life. There are simply some things that are out of human control...we can educate ourselves and plan for contingencies...we can meditate, pray or seek spiritual guidance...we can keep ourselves fit mentally and physically and we can face what comes when it comes without twisting ourselves up with anxiety in advance.

No, but I have no choice, because there isn't anyone else around to help control the aspects of my life.

No sometimes you need to let slippage occur so that even the weak and useless can be reined in, use your head and
you can get to the bottom of anything, as long as it is not a
lake with a fridge or washing machine attached....................

Yes....because if I'm not, I have anxiety. I also try to control other people. But I know this is wrong, and I'm working on it.
