most people don't like her because she speaks her mind, and they disagree with her opinions. but i don't have a problem with her she has never done anything to me and the stuff she says doesn't really offend me.

1) It's not that Rosie's gay, but the fact that she preaches her sexuality on a daily basis; "my gay family" this, "gays have rights" that. Ellen DeGeneres has the class to just sit and interview celebrities about their lives and upcoming projects, doing what Letterman and Leno and Conan and Craig Ferguson do, but only in the daytime. Ellen entertains and makes us laugh. Rosie tries to be funny, but often comes up short, and is seen as a grade-A loudmouth.
2) Before Rosie O'Donnell came on "The View," that show was not in the newspaper headlines practically every time you turned your head for something someone said during Hot Topics. First, we had that incident where Clay Aiken put his hand over Kely Ripa's mouth, and Rosie was the first to scream, "homophobic." Then, after Danny DeVito came to the show drunk, Rosie was bragging about how this made international headlines, and here, she imitated a Chinese newscast, going, "Ching chong ching chong ching chong," which ticked off the Asian community, THEN she folows up with a lame-*** apology saying she's going to do something else along the lines again next week because "that's how my brain works." Finally, there's the slam with Donald Trump where she called him a "snake-oil salesman" and brought up his alleged bankruptcy and extra-martial affairs, this over his decision to not strip Miss USA Tara Conner of her crown. That was the piece de resistance, because Trump actually sued her over it.
3) While I actually agree with her over the Iraq War fling (it's a war we cannot win and Elisabitch Hasselbeck fails to see this,) she doesn't have the right to shout anti-American slurs (especially since she is American herself) just because George Bush refuses to bring our troops home, and more and more of our soldiers keep dying. There are more subtle ways of doing this other than calling the troops terrorists (something even I wouldn't resort to doing, because I'm one of the more smarter liberals who thinks before he speaks, something Rosie is INCAPABLE of doing.) Never mind the fact that she doesn't have her facts; apparently the old cliche, "Think before you speak" does not apply to her.
So there you have it, the reason why I don't care for Rosie so much.

It is because what comes out of her mouth makes no sense.
She will make statements and start arguments without having any validity to her points.
If she were to provide credentials behind her reasonings, such as the "Bush Administration being responsible for 9/11"..(her words, not mine), then people would take her comments seriously.
As it stands, her physical appearance and her lifestyle have done little to assist her.
I know people will give me thumbs down, or you will not like my answer, but if she were able to give backbone to her remarks and comments, then this would be a different topic.
She is like Geraldo Rivera. All talk, in it for the attention, but cannot seem to grasp the simple task that when you make a statement or give an opinion, you have to be able to give concrete reasons for them.
She just lets the words fly and doesn't care if what she says makes sense.
If she were so great..why is she no longer on The View? Why did her magazine fail? Why did her talk show flop?

I think it was great to have someone who was fat and gay and was outside the same old blonde big boobs woman that you always see on TV. I loved her talk show. I started having a problem with her when she was downright nasty with Tom Selleck (and in no way am I a fan of his or the NRA) but she just went on this crusade while at the same time she changed her views. Anti NRA, then after 9/11 she backed Bush with the war on terror, now she's totally anti anything remotely conservative. Changing views is ok too but man she just got so pushy and militant about everything. Then when she started in with her conspiracy theories, I thought Hollywood has gotten to her and she just comes off lokking like a whack job. And by the way, she certainly does care what people say. Otherwise she wouldn't have left The View.

First off, she's a hypocrite. Case in point, she went on a tirade about Don Imus and how he should be allowed to say his nappy comment because of free speech. She did not care that it hurt people's feelings. However, it was only a few months earlier that she went off on Kelly Ripa for being a "homophobic" because she didn't want Clay Aiken's hand in her mouth.
She's a hypocrite and how she used her hypocrisy makes me believe she's a racist as well.

I don't dislike Rosie. I think that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Being opinionated shouldn't be a bad thing. Yet, Rosie often talks without thinking. When you are a famous you have a social responsibility. I think that her views about the President were getting old. Who wants to hear about him every day. I think that she was wrong in the argument with Elizabeth. Yes, Elizabeth gets on my last nerve sometimes, but Rosie was wrong. Yes, if you make a statement that people can openly imply something they will. I implied my own opinion about her statement, because her statement was not clear. She blew up, because she knew she was wrong. No, I don't believe she is against our troops. That was the last thing I would think, but she should have cleared it up and moved on.

The fact that she is gay and overweight has NEVER crossed my mind. I dont like her because she is a bully. She got into it with (Trump & Elisabeth and many more..) and once the going gets tough she acts as though she just said it for the sake of comedy... once an ordeal explodes and backfires then it was just a question or statement that got out of hand. She just needs to learn how to keep her mouth shut and stop bullying people.

Rosie Rocks! She tells it like she sees it and she puts her money where mouth is. Whats the problem. All the Haters just need to cross over and walk in the light of truth, and you will see that most of the time Rosie is right. Peace out!
