One act of corruption, one catastrophe. Can anyone find one instance of starvation, disease, war, genocide, poverty... just one instance where the US or Europe don;t stand to win. One instance where the First World did NOT cause Thirdworld suffering.
(the obvious exception is natural disasters)

The Rwandan Genocide is an episode of the Rwandan Civil War, a consequence of Belgian Colonial practices and the Belgian Genocide (8-10M dead). Furthermore, the US involved itself by backing counter-revolutionary forces and leaders such as Mobutu while opposing Pan-Africanists and socialists and even murdering them. The murder of Patrice Lumumba among others cannot but be seen as an assault on African stability.
Furthermore, the US took careful steps to veto any attempts to stop the genocide. There were UN troops available for this purpose but the US made considerable efforts to stop peacekeeping action. On the private sector, the conflict was flared by US and European arms dealers.

Please do look into Rwandan Civil War, Congo Genocide and Mobutu Sésé Seko.
Here is a site with documents incriminating US actions in the Security Council to stop Peace keeping forces.

The US and Europe created the conditions for the genocide, provided the weapons and made sure no one stopped it.

Zimbabwe? Mugabe has been backed by the US and the UK until recently. Mugabe has been able to hold control with the support of the US/UK.
Sudan ... the US has given its support to Ethiopia along with aid in order to overthrow the government.
Somalia... the US already invaded it in 93 to back a Warlord and now it is shelling it again.

Haiti and the Philippines have both suffered bloody occupations by the US... please do your research. Mark Twain condemned US actions in the Philippines and US involvement in Haiti reverberates to this day (see Duvalier Dictatorship)
The Kashmir conflict is a direct result of the conflict mongering of the UK in India. Playing favoritism with colonial peoples often ends in conflict.
The Basque conflict is a EUROPEAN conflict, clearly falls outside of the thirdworld, therefore outside of my unchallenged statement that US/EU has its hand on every 3rdworld conflict.

Rwanda comes immediately to mind. Definitely an all-African event.

There are many wars going on between many countries that you or i have never even heard of. To think that America is behind them all is just being ignorant. It would be impossible for America to be behind every war waging in the world today.
I read an article not long ago that there are over 125 active wars going on in the world today between countries recognized by the UN. Now how could America be behind all of that?
I could name a few-but whats the point.
