sounds like a healthy baby to me. If doc isn't worried, I wouldn't worry.
Weight depends on genetics, birth weight and feeding schedules.
I was lucky if my youngest was 15 lbs when she was 1 year old. Every baby grows different!
Best of luck

My oldest was about that size. She was 8 lbs. 13 oz. and 22 inches at birth. By the time she was a month old, she weighed over 10 lbs! She barely wore a 0-3 month size at all; she was in 3-6 by the time she was 6 weeks, and, at her first birthday, wore a 2T.
Her height, as an infant, was in the 75-80th percentile, and her weight was off the charts. But, as long as it remained consistent (not 25th percentile for height and off the charts for weight, for instant), her doctors weren't concerned! By the time she was 18 months, her weight started to level out, and now she's been in the 75th for height and the 85th for weight for a few years. She's 43 inches tall and weighs 52 lbs at 5 1/2. Most people mistake her for six or seven!
As long as they stay consistently on the same curve, doctors don't worry about how big a baby is. If there's a sudden rise or fall in the curve, that's another story. But, it sounds like your daughter's right where she should be for her length and weight!
Relax, and just keep doing what you've been doing.

Those are almost my sons stats to a T when he was that age. He has always been off the charts for weight and length, but still in the 90s for head size. as long as she is following a good growth curve, she is fine. Just start looking for bigger clothes, and lift some weights. My son is now 6 months, and he is 22lbs 4oz, and 29.5 in, the size of an average 1 year old. You and baby are not alone. Good luck and congrats on the new bundle of joy!

this is very large considering the charts used today are based on American averages which are too large anyways. Consdiering all measurments were large I wouldn't consider the baby fat, just a big baby. If your baby was short and overweight that would be a different story. Mine has always been in the skinny category, yet very tall, but is still completely healthy. AS long as the doctor doesn't seem worried, I woulddn't worry. Babies that age cannot overeat anyways.

Congratulations!! Girl that's great!!
My son was the same exact way his 1month check up he was at 86% growth month 2 99% month 3 101% he is now 7 months and at the 6 mo. check up he was 89% my Dr. said often they have a huge growth spurt then it can taper off later and even out.
She sounds like she's doing great. Enjoy her and don't worry about the percentage of growth unless it is astranomicaaly over or under.

Wow you do have a big baby...but since she's big in all aspects (height, weight, head cir.) it must just be the way she's meant to be :-)
My little girl is 9 months old and just hit 16lbs, but she's been consistently small since she was a few weeks old so the doctor isn't concerned, she's growing just fine. My daughter's head cir. is off the charts in the OTHER direction LOL

Considering that she is in the upper percentiles in ALL 3, she is just a big girl in general. Not overweight. My now 13 month old, up until his 9 month visit wa slike like. HE has fallen off on the weight a bit now though.

There is no such thin as too big before the age of two. Babies are suposed to be rolly. It is what keeps them from getting hurt. Don't worry about your baby's weight until he/she is atleast two. Then you can start regulating what they eat and drink.

there is a great variation in range of normality, but your baby is quite large, time for you to build up your muscles to carry her. Relax and enjoy her.
