My mother used to do that to me all the time. If I was tired, had a headache (and I have migraines, so I would often have bad headaches), had heartburn, etc. I was pregnant.
The absolute worst was the day my husband and I went to the the house to tell my family we were getting married. We walked in all smiles and said "We have something to tell you." The response I got was, "You're pregnant, aren't you?" It really took the wind out of our sails.
If it annoys you, tell her, "Look, mom, I appreciate that you worry about me, but please stop. If I am pregnant, I will tell you."

My mom did that for like the first 6 months. Now she's calmed down on it. My best friend is a guy and every time I say something to him about not feeling good, that's the first thing he says. So I've been hearing it non-stop for the last 13 months.

That happened to me before I was even pregnant. Right after I got married every time I said I didn't feel well, she would say, are you pregnant. It gets annoying after a while. She doesn't have to say it anymore, because now when I say I'm tired it's because I am pregnant.

I'm 30, mothers 57 and still sometimes a pain in my azz. However as you get older and out of the wings of your mom, you have a better friendship first of all than when you were younger teens early twentys, and you learn that she really does love you and all she wants is the best for you. My mom still trys to control things, if it makes her feel better usually I do it if its something small. But when I have my mind made up and she intrudes i put my foot down. its give and take, just like kids, you have to choose your battles. Good Luck ladies

my mom only did that to me when i was 19, my b/f moved in with me and my parents, and i was up ALL night throwing up, the next morning my mom asked me "have you guys been sleeping together?" so i had to tell her but she was fine with it. but then she got me into the doctors to get me birth control and before they give you it they do a blood test to see if you are pregnant and i wasn't. the day before me and my best friend had hot coco from a coffee house and that's what made me sick so i never went there again. but now we are getting married at the end of this month and my mom has been after me and my fieonce for the last year "when am i going to have a grandchild?" were like "when the time comes"

Yes, i had the stomach flu and a co-worker of mine asked if i was pregnant. I think i am too young to have a kid and i took offense to it. Whose to say i am doing those kind of things? I dont think that is a great question to ask someone unless they're talking about it.

YESSS it can be irritating. One time I was feeling so sick i was laying on the bed and going to sleep early or taking a cat nap she assumes I am pregnant. I already have 1 kid before she assumed that. But every lil thing made her think I was pregnant even if I was 1 day late for my period.

Yes. Even before I was sexually active, my dad would always say that. If I ate four meals instead of three, if I went to the bathroom twice in two hours, or if I took a nap when I got out of school. It's funny when I think about it now.

i actually like to freak my mom out by saying that I might be. I can pooch my tummy out, when i am not pregnant, to look like i am about 6 months along. The look on her face is priceless, you'd think she'd catch on by now.
I am, currently 37 weeks and 1 day along with her 4th very much wanted and loved grandchild.
