The 'system' you are buying should have a replacement 'battery pack' that you just swap with the original, place on the wii remote and then charge in the docking station.

The wii remote chargers have 2 special type of batteries for 2 controlers. So your parisonic controlers you can keep for your tv remote or anything else usefull.

I have the Wii remote chargers and was worried that the battery wouldn't last long on that chargable battery but they do last a long time. so its worth the money.

The controllers take AA batteries. Hopefully the kit you buy will have AA rechargeables. But you need other batteries while those are charging. The Panasonics that come with it are just plain old alkaline batteries and won't last forever. Just use any old AA batteries, or buy more AA rechargeables.
